I am grateful for the beauty of art and the enjoyment I get from looking at gorgeous artwork. I also am blessed to have so many artists in the immediate family that I can go and enjoy their work.

I am grateful when our community pulls together and supports a cause. Chris and I went to a community meeting tonight that was organized by Rowland Heights. We are fighting a proposed 775 apartment complex that was originally zoned for a few homes. Everyone in the community does not want the extra traffic and congestion that will certainly come if it is built. I was amazed when I entered the banquet room (where the meeting was to be) and saw over 500 people there, my neighbors, standing up for something that they feel strongly about : )

I am grateful for my computer : ) I have been scanning old pictures onto my photo program as well as typing recipes into my work program. I have a lot less junk in my house since I can put it on my computer.

I am grateful for my fathers service as a captain in the 461st Bombardment Squad in the Army Air Corps (now the Air Force)during World War II. I just rediscovered a written account of my fathers missions from one of his crew and it is amazing, he was truly a real hero! How blessed I am to be his daughter : )
