I am grateful when our community pulls together and supports a cause. Chris and I went to a community meeting tonight that was organized by Rowland Heights. We are fighting a proposed 775 apartment complex that was originally zoned for a few homes. Everyone in the community does not want the extra traffic and congestion that will certainly come if it is built. I was amazed when I entered the banquet room (where the meeting was to be) and saw over 500 people there, my neighbors, standing up for something that they feel strongly about : )
