I am grateful for my fathers service as a captain in the 461st Bombardment Squad in the Army Air Corps (now the Air Force)during World War II. I just rediscovered a written account of my fathers missions from one of his crew and it is amazing, he was truly a real hero! How blessed I am to be his daughter : )
