"There are no mistakes, no coincidences. All events are blessings given to us to learn from." - Elizabeth Kubler-Ross

"On the recollection of so many and great favors and blessings, I now, with a high sense of gratitude, presume to offer up my sincere thanks to the Almighty, the Creator and Preserver." - William Bartram
I am grateful for my aunt and uncle, Mimi and John. They are special people to me and I love to spend the afternoon with them. They are so kind and generous and really care about me. I appreciate them and hope that they will be part of my life for a while longer.

"Gratitude is the fairest blossom, which springs from the soul; and the heart of man knoweth none more fragrant." - Hosea Ballou
I am grateful for having a good memory (for the most part : ) My husband always asks me "How can you remember all of this stuff?" I like it because it helps me to cherish good times in my past.

"A true friend is someone who thinks that you are a good egg even though he knows that you are slightly cracked." - Bernard Meltzer
I am grateful for the great memories I have growing up a country girl! I loved being in 4-H showing my rabbits, goats and sheep. The fun times I had at 4-H camp and camping at the fairgrounds : ) Having these experiences helped me become responsible since the animals I had depended totally on me for their care. I also learned (the hard way) that
things don't always turn out the way you would like (especially when you have to accept the death of a favorite animal) but you can also experience tremendous joy (like the time I won the Senior Showmanship trophy)I wouldn't want to give up those memories!

"For today and its blessings, I owe the world an attitude of gratitude." - Clarence E Hodges
Gratitude today is for finished projects! (whatever they may be : ) In this case I cannot divulge what the project is as the recipient may find out by reading this so will keep quiet : ) I love the feeling I get when I can check something off of my to do list.

"One can pay back the loan of gold, but one dies forever in debt to those who are kind." - Malayan Proverb
I am grateful for my succulents and cactus plants. Blossoms have opened on my "Star Flower" succulents and they are beautiful and well as unusual looking. What a blessing to have the beauty of all kinds of flowers!
